Set the Lock/Unlock switch to the Unlock position.

Slide the cover off of the base.

Insert the hard disk drive in the base, then snap the
cover back in place and set the Lock/Unlock switch
to the Lock position.

Plug the built-in, self-storing USB cable into a USB port.
The operating system will automatically detect and install
the necessary driver(s).
