Malfunctions

If the instructions are not sufficient for troubleshooting, please
contact M&D. The engine is not allowed to be operated until the
malfunction was fixed.

3.1 Heater No Current

The ignitor was turned on, but the current consumption was
below the set minimum value.
The igniter itself and its wiring has to be checked for defects.

3.2 Heater Overcurrent

The current consumption of the igniter has exceeded the set
maximum value.
Possibly the igniter is defective or there is a short-circuit.

3.3 Starter Overcurrent

The current consumption of the starter exceeded the set
maximum value. The starting process has been aborted.
It must be ensured, that there is no short-circuit and that the
starter and turbine shaft can rotate freely.

3.4 No Ignition

No ignition of the fuel took place during the starting process.
The set minimum temperature was not reached during the set
starting period, which caused the process to be aborted.

The igniter, fuel lines, wiring and fuses must be checked for their
condition.
