Exposure Control Tab
It is here in the
Exposure Control Tab
that you have complete
control of the exposure process. You can have the HD-10 II
camera try to pick the best exposure for the current image, or you
can take control of the exposure yourself.
You can adjust the exposure either by entering an exposure value
or by sliding an
Exposure Time
bar. This tab also allows you to
adjust the
Gain
of the camera.

Auto Exposure
When control is checked, the HD-10 II camera will
attempt to provide the best exposure for the
image.
The control will also adjust the
gain
to help provide
the best gain setting.
Once unchecked, the settings will remain, but you
have manual control to adjust them to your liking.
To the right of the
Auto exposure
control is the
current frames per second capture rate of the
camera.
Target
When the Auto Exposure control is active, then so is
the Target Slider. This slider allows you to give an
exposure time indicator on a scale from
0
to
15
that the
Auto Exposure
should aim for. The higher
the
Target
number, the longer the
Auto Exposure
can push the camera.
Use
Left-Click-Hold
and
Drag
to move the slider.
Manual
Exposure Setting
This control allows you to either manual enter in the
exposure time the
s
or the
ms
box or use the
up
and
down
arrows adjacent to the box to adjust the
time.
The exposure will not change until you
click
on the
OK
button to the right of the time boxes.
The HD-10 II has a range of exposure times from
0
ms
to
10 s
