WARNING
Danger of electric shock.
Before removing the front cover, disconnect
the ventilation unit at all poles from the power
supply, secure against being accidentally
switched back on and position a visible
warning sign.
NOTICE
Danger of short-circuits/damage to unit
should water enter the electronics com-
partment.
Ensure a correct, sealed line feedthrough
through cable feedthroughs [2] and [3].
NOTICE
If the connection cables are too short, the
electronic slide-in module cannot be fully
pulled out and fitted.
Ensure connection cables of a sufficient
length inside the ventilation unit.
The ventilation unit may only be operated
using the voltage and frequency shown on
the rating plate.
Fixed wiring is prescribed for the mains
connection. The power cable is already
fully wired inside the unit.
3. Remove front cover


4. Take electronic unit with main printed
circuit board [4] out of ventilation unit and
attach as described below.

slide-in module

Take electronic slide-in module and attach
it.
5. Install optional additional circuit board(s)
ZP 1 and/or ZP 2 in slots and connect with
connecting cables provided. Check DIP
switch settings and adjust if necessary.

6. Attach optional KNX or EnOcean plug-in
module (K-SM/E-SM) to slot X01 [4.3] of
main board

7. Guide connecting cable of operating units
and additional components through cable
feedthroughs [2] and [3] into ventilation
unit. Ensure seal integrity (IP protection).
8. Establish electrical connection – wire con -
nection cables according to wiring diagram
in chapters 14 to 18. For connection vari -
ants of additional components

9. Insert electronic slide-in module into elec-
tronics compartment and screw down.
10. Fit front cover(s)


11. Run function test: “Switch on” the mains
fuse. The LEDs on the single control unit
activate.
12. Download commissioning software.
