Risk of injury/damage to unit when
removing the filter cover, the front
cover or heat exchanger (installation/
removal/cleaning/maintenance).
The filter
cover is fixed. The front cover is very heavy.
Sometimes the heat exchanger is hard to pull
out/slide in.
Ensure that you are standing securely and
cannot lose your balance and that there is
no one under the unit (danger of injury from
falling components). Have a second person
provide assistance.
When removing and installing the compo
-
nents, support them from below with a hand.
Deposits/dust can fall down when remov-
ing the front cover. When performing work
overhead, protect your eyes and airways.
Risk of injury when working at
heights.
Use appropriate climbing aids (ladders).
Stability should be ensured, if necessary have
the ladders steadied by a 2nd person.
Ensure that you are standing securely and
cannot lose your balance and that there is no
one under the unit.
Risk of injury when handling sharp
components,
e.g. front cover, heat
exchanger retaining strap.
Wear protective gloves.
Risk during transport from heavy or
falling loads.
Observe applicable safety and accident
prevention requirements.
Note permissible maximum loading capaci
-
ty of lifting gear.
Exercise caution when lifting. Note trans
-
port weight (up to 50 kg) and centre of gravity
of ventilation
unit (centre). Only carry the unit together with
several persons and fix it to the ceiling.
Dimensions (LxWxH in mm):
1500 x 700 x 300 mm
Do not stand under a suspended load.
Check unit for transport damage. Do not
commission a damaged unit.
Intended operation not ensured if
installed incorrectly.
A ventilation unit
not installed correctly may result in operation
not as intended.
Only install ventilation unit in accordance
with the planning specifications.
In particular, note the information on insu-
lating ventilation channels and sound dead
-
ening. Recommendation: Use tubular sound
absorber for sound-deadened installation of
ventilation unit.
Risk from operating with ventilation
unit not fully installed (open unit/with-
out duct connections).
Running fans can be touched. Electric compo
-
nents are a potential source of electric shock.
There is a danger of burning on units
with a PTC heat register on the protective
grill and on the components of the heat
register.
Only operate ventilation unit with all fitted
duct connections and when it is completely
installed (with front cover mounted).
Absorbers significantly reduce the noise
emissions.
Insulate ducts sufficiently to prevent diffu
-
sion.
Wear protective gloves on units with a
PTC heat register.
Risk of injury from falling unit if in-
stalled incorrectly.
Only install on ceilings with sufficient
load-bearing capacity (solid with at least 200
kg/m³) and with mounting
material of a sufficient dimensions. Mounting
material is to be supplied by the customer.
