16 Changing the air filter
Filter change display:
Once the set filter
change interval has elapsed, a filter change
message appears on the screen
menu
Ventilation/System status.
The LED of the active ventilation level flashes
regularly on the simple control unit.
Information about previous filter changes is
stored in the menu

16.1 Filter change – filter service life

The manufacturer recommends the
following
.
Check the air filters (unit, external and room
filters) regularly, depending on the amount of
dirt.
Select shorter change intervals if a lot
of dust or dirt is produced. Change them as
required.
Only use original air filters.
●
G4, M5 and F7 unit filters every 3 months
●
External filters (optional) every 6 months
●
Room filters (optional) every 2 months

An imminent filter change is displayed on a
main control unit – the
Status display
must
be activated under
Basic settings
. With the
simple control unit, the LED of ventilation
level II flashes regularly, at longer intervals.

Recommendation:
Change all unit
filters at the same time.
1. Switch off ventilation unit, disconnect at
all poles from the power supply, secure
against being accidentally switched back
on and position a visible warning sign.
2. Removing front cover(s):

Tilt front plate forwards at the two top
corners (magnets [M]) and remove from
above. Remove filter cover [A].
