1.  Install EnOcean extension module 

PP 45 EO

 

For more information 

 Accessories in-

structions. If necessary, include a separate 

distribution box in the wiring planning.

2.  Connect EnOcean extension module to 

RLS 45 K

 control (RS485) 

 Wiring  

diagrams in the appendix

. 

3.  Start up ventilation system, activate in 

EnOcean service mode 

 Chap. 10.

EnOcean-Actor PP 45 Act

The PP 45 Act can be used to combine 

radio-controlled PP 45 RC devices with wired 

exhaust air units (ECA, ER). Installation simi

-

lar to light switch installation; can be switched 

on and off at the touch of a button. For more 

information 

 Accessories instructions.

9.9 Installing humidity sensor 

PP 45 HYI

 

In wired systems, the integrated humidity sen-

sor is inserted into the 

RLS 45 O

 or 

RLS 45 K

 

room air control. In 

PP 45 RC

 radio-controlled 

units, the integrated humidity sensor is in-

stalled directly in the ventilation unit.

Installing humidity sensor in

 or 

RLS 45 K

1.  Install room air control as described before. 

 

NOTICE

Unit damage/no function if the humidity 

sensor is installed incorrectly. 

Do not bend 

pins. Insert sensor up to stop in bush.

2.  Insert humidity sensor 

PP 45 HYI

 at I2C 

interface 

 Arrow.

Fit front panel. Make sure it locks into 

position. 

Front panel has NO pro

-

tection against twisting. 

Ensure that 

sensor opening (hole in front panel) is 

above the sensor.

3.  Start up ventilation system and register

sensor in the master ventilation unit.

1.  Take off front cover of internal cover's 

housing. To do this, press on locking lever 

on underside of housing and take off cov

er.

2.  Loosen screw for board

 cover, take off 

board cover.

 

NOTICE

No function if the humidity sensor is in-

stalled incorrectly. 

Do not bend pins. Insert 

sensor up to stop in bush.

3.  Insert humidity sensor

4.  Fit board cover.
5.  Attach front cover of internal housing at 

top in two housing studs and swivel down 

until front cover engages on locking lever.
