10.1 Meaning of the LEDs on
PP 45 RC/PPB 30 RC

10.2 Radio components which can be
learned-in (EEP)

PP 45/PPB 30 radio components must
support the EEP protocol. Radio com-
ponents with the EEP no. listed below
can be combined with the PP 45/
PPB 30 system.

Radio actuator PP 45 Act ( 1 channel):
The PP 45 Act can be used to activate
the “Supply air for exhaust air units”
function for PP 45 RC units. The PP
45 Act is connected and learned-in
following the enclosed mounting and
operating instructions.
Learning-in tips
● Radio components are learned-in directly on
the master PP 45 RC/PPB 30 RC (LEARN
key).
● Only one slave unit can be assigned to each
master ventilation unit of the same type.
Exception: For systems with PP 45 RC unit
pairs and PPB 30 RC, additional learning-in
of the PPB 30 RC in the PP 45 master is
possible.
● Correct operation of a unit pair is monitored
by the master unit.
● Learning mode is deactivated each time a
radio component is saved, meaning that it
has to be called up again for each further
component.
● If nothing is received within 120 seconds,
the learning-in process is ended (the LED
on the ventilation unit switches off).
● Learn-in telegrams from non-supported
units are ignored.
10.3 Learn-in PP 45 Act EnOcean wire-
less actuator
With the PP 45 Act EnOcean actuator, radio-
controlled PP 45 RC PushPull units can be
combined with wired exhaust air units (ECA,
ER).
