7.7 Sensors
Wired sensors
are connected to an
RLS 45 O
or
RLS 45 K
control.
Assignment:
Per
control, max. 1 internal sensor and 3 external
sensors. The sensors (internal/external) can
only be plugged/learned-in on the master
RLS.
Up to
8
wireless sensors
can be learned-in
on one PP 45 RC/PPB 30 RC master. The
user is free to select the assignment. For
possible sensor types

10.2.
External sensors
are connected to the RS
485 interface of the room air control. Thus the
system can be expanded with several external
sensors
Service mode. With external
sensors, addressing is undertaken using the
rotary switch in the sensor housing:
● Position 0: sensor 1
● Position 1: sensor 2
● Position 2: sensor 3
7.8 Power units PP 45 LT / RLS 45 O/K
controls
The ventilation system can be expanded on
the main control with up to 3 power units (with
respectively 6 PP 45 O/K ventilation units per
power unit) or with up to 3 further RLS 45 O/K
controls
. Activation in service mode.
The main control (
page 2) functions as
a master and issues the commands. The
settings on the slave controls can be changed
manually.
If a room air control is being used as a slave,
addressing as slave 1, 2 or 3 (depending on
number of slaves) must be selected in the
control’s service menu.
Power units are addressed as follows:
1. Connect PP 45 LT to the RLS 45 O/K
master control.
2. Activate the power unit with the commis
-
sioning software or in service mode.
3. Push button [T] on power unit once.
The communication between the RLS 45
O/K control and the PP 45 LT is estab
-
lished.
7.9 The 230 V input of the RLS 45 K
The 230 V input is switched with a switch/but
-
ton to be provided by the customer. In order
to use the additional function, the desired
additional function is selected and activated in
service mode.
The following additional functions are available:
● Sleep mode
●
Intermittent ventilation
● Safety function (External OFF)
● Supply air operation with overrun time of
0 min.
● Supply air operation with overrun time of
6 min.
● Supply air operation with overrun time of
15 min.
7.10 Modbus interface (building control
technology)
With the Modbus parameters in service
mode, the RS 485 interface of the
RLS 45
O and RLS 45 K controls
can be reconfig
-
ured in a Modbus interface
chapter 14.

If the RS 485 interface is configured
as a Modbus interface, no further com
-
ponents (PPB 30 K, sensors, power
units, room air controls etc.) can be
connected at this interface.
