10 Mounting of soffit elements

 

PP 45 LE, PP 45 LEV and  

PP 45 LEW90

  PP 45 LE/LEV/LEW90 not suited for

PPB 30 units – use PP 45 LE/LEV/ 

 LEW90 

 only in combination with 

PP 45 units.

Incline of at least 1...2%

L  Window soffit

 

P  Plaster edge max. 7 mm

 

NOTICE

Installation position, internal wall: 

Once 

the plaster has been applied or wallpaper put 

up etc., the wall sleeve must end flush with 

the internal wall.

Installation position of window soffit: 

 

The condensate drip edge must protrude 

20 to 25 mm beyond the external plastering 

once this plastering is applied.

Mounting preparations PP 45 LE

●

Determine installation position. Ensure

mounting is on a level wall surface. Note

dimensions. Take account of a 7 mm plaster

edge [P] all the way round.

● Adjust external wall façade insulation to the 

soffit element.

WARNING

Risk of injury if the soffit element or wall 

sleeve comes loose. 

Only mount on walls 

with sufficient load-bearing capacity. Firmly 

plaster in soffit element and wall sleeve.
