Cleaning, maintenance
12.1 Filter cleaning / change
The filters must be blown out every 2-3
months. After 4,000 operating hours, the
filter change display on the room air
control reports that the filters need
changing:

Danger from electric shock!
Deactivate the fuse in the fuse box and
protect against being accidentally switched
back on. Fit a warning notice on the fuse
box.
1. Take off internal cover [8] of
ventilation unit.
2. Remove internal filter [5].
3. Use wire sling to take out slide-in
module [4] including heat exchanger
and EC fan.
4. Remove external filter [3].
5a. When cleaning filters: blow out both
filters with compressed air, working
from inside to outside of filter.
5b. When changing filters: take two new
filters out of the packaging.
6. Place external filter [3] on slide-in
module [4] and turn down pasting
lugs. The pasting frame must be
facing the slide-in module.
7. Place internal filter [5] on slide-in
module [4] and turn down pasting
lugs. The pasting frame must be
facing the slide-in module.
8. Slide slide-in module [4] into wall
insulation sleeve. The heat exchanger
must be facing you.
9. Seal ventilation unit with internal
cover [8].
You will hear it engage.
10. Activate mains fuses and remove
warning sign.
Start the ventilation units.
12.2 Cleaning the internal cover
WARNING
Danger from electric shock!
Deactivate the fuse in the fuse box and
protect against being accidentally switched
back on. Fit a warning notice on the fuse
box.
1. Take off internal cover [8] of
ventilation unit.
2. Clean internal cover with damp cloth.
Make sure that no water enters the
ventilation unit.
3. Seal ventilation unit with internal
cover.
You will hear it engage.
4. Activate mains fuses and remove
warning sign.
Start the ventilation units.
