6. Use sealing plugs to close off the holes for the

fastening screws. This prevents water from
getting in.

7. Seal the front cover to the exterior wall with

permanently elastic and weatherproof sealant.
Use silicone-free sealing material for PP 45
AKB. PP 45 AKB can be painted over with any
façade paint.

(once exterior wall is fully plastered)

CAUTION Exercise caution when hand-

ling housing parts with sharp edges, e.g.
stainless steel external covers

Wear protective gloves.

1. Once the external plastering is complete, re-

move the plaster protective cover.

2. Take off the front cover of external cover’s

housing.

3. Align housing horizontally and centred with

wall sleeve, mark 4 fixing holes, position dow-
els and screw down housing to exterior wall
with 4 screws. Suitable mounting material is to
be provided by the customer.

Sealing strip (silicone)

4. Seal bottom third of spaces between wall

sleeve and housing with permanently elastic
and weatherproof sealant e.g. sealing strip
(silicone).

5. Press front cover onto housing so it engages

all the way round. Place external cover (stain-
less steel/white/black) on the housing and
tighten the pre-assembled screws.
