Minimum wall thickness 265 mm, slide-in
module must not protrude out of wall sleeve.
The profile seal on the outside of the slide-in
module serves to fix the unit in place and
avoid air from infiltrating. The motor connec-
tion cable must not be strained when installed.
When sliding in the slide-in module, ensure
that the `Oben/Top´ sticker is facing upwards.
11.Press fan connection cable into notch (arrow)
so that it is fixed and not strained.

12.With PP 45 O units (12 V DC), insert the en-
closed sheet metal in the 2 locking tabs so
that it engages. Wire connector with the 12 V
control cable of the room air control (
Connec-
tion and wiring diagrams [ } 81] in appendix).
Plug connector onto the sheet metal and con-
nect it with plug.
13.For PP 45 K units (12 V DC) loosen the
screws of the circuit board cover, remove the
cover. Plug the fan connection cable directly
onto the circuit board. Wire the 12 V control
cable of the room air control (
Connection and
wiring diagrams [
}
81] in appendix). Fit circuit
board cover.
14.Attach front cover of internal housing at top in
two housing studs and swivel down until front
cover engages on locking lever.
8.4 230 V electrical connection
PP 45 RC and RLS 45 O / RLS 45 K controls are
supplied with a 230 V mains voltage.
Note the following safety instructions.
DANGER Danger of electric shock.
Before installing the electrics, shut down all sup-
ply circuits, switch off mains fuse, secure against
being accidentally switched back on and position
a visible warning sign. During operation, the
board cover and front cover of the internal hous-
ing must be mounted.
WARNING Danger of burns/fire due to
overload caused by incorrect connection or
connecting too many units to a RLS 45 O /
RLS 45 K.
Connect units in accordance with connection dia-
gram. Observe permissible number of ventilation
units per room air control/power unit.
WARNING Danger of electric shock if the
12 V low voltage and 230 V are not disconnec-
ted or are insufficiently disconnected.
Ensure a safety distance between 230 V and 12
V cables. Ensure minimum distance of 8 mm.
