DTC INFORMATION
PROBABLE CAUSES OF FAILURE
NORMAL OPERATION
Ignition ON
During engine cranking and running, the EMS ECU receives
the output signal from crankshaft speed sensor and is within
the range
DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS
Ignition ON
EMS ECU supply voltage 8-16V
While engine cranking/running,disturbance noticed in
crankshaft speed signal
DTC REACTIONS
Engine check lamp continuously ON.
Engine will not start/Engine stops
HEALING CONDITION
Ignition Off/On
Open crankshaft speed
sensor circuit
Sensor mounting loosened
Increased air gap between
crankshaft speed sensor
and the trigger wheel
Trigger wheel
