SIGNAL RANGE CHECK FOR FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR ABOVE MAXIMUM LIMIT.
FUEL TEMPERATURE SENSOR
The fuel temperature sensor is a variable resistor whose resistance changes as the temperature of the fuel
flowing past the sensor changes(NTC resistor). When the fuel temperature is low, the sensor resistance
is high; when the fuel temperature is high, the sensor resistance is low
DTC INFORMATION
PROBABLE CAUSES OF FAILURE
NORMAL OPERATION
Ignition ON
The measured output voltage value of the fuel temperature
sensor is within the range
DTC DETECTING CONDITIONS
Ignition ON
EMS ECU supply voltage 8-16V
The measured output voltage of the fuel temperature sensor
is above the maximum range
DTC REACTIONS
Engine will run with a default fuel temperature of 20 °C.
