14.5.9 Changing the Wiper Blade
1.
Lift the arm and position the wiper blade at right angles to the
wiper arm
2.
Press the retaining clip in the opposite direction, disengage the
wiper blade and pull it off the arm
To prevent damage to the windshield, don’t let the wiper arm slap
down on to it.
3.
Hold the end of the rubber and pull until the tabs are free of
the metal support
4.
Carefully insert the new blade rubber. Then install the blade
assembly in the reverse order of removal
14.6 Maintenance - Inside the Vehicle
14.6.1 Lights
Make sure the headlights, stop lights, tail lights, turn signal lights
and other lights are all working. Check headlight aim.
14.6.2 Warning Messages and Lamps
Check all warning lamps appearing in the instrument cluster. Refer
to the relevant sections in this manual for further details.
14.6.3 Seats
Check that all seat controls such as seat adjusters, seat back
recliner, etc. operate smoothly and that all latches lock securely in
any position. Check that the head restraints move up and down
smoothly and that the locks hold securely in any latched position.
14.6.4 Seat Belts
Check that the seat belt system such as buckles, retractors and
anchors operate properly and smoothly. Make sure the belt
webbing is not cut, frayed, worn or damaged.
