Reading the engine error codes

In case of an engine problem, the engine controller displays 
error codes in the form of flash sequences. You can read the 
error codes with the “Diagnostics on/off” and “Diagnostics 
selection” switches.

You do not need the diagnostic function in normal mode, it is 
only for reading error codes in case engine problems occur.

Reading error codes

If there is an engine problem, one of the warning lights goes 
on. When you read the error codes, the engine has to be 
turned off and the ignition key has to be in the
