Battery Instruction:
1. Open battery cover, Insert one 3V battery in the holder.
2. LCD displays”888”. Within 3 seconds the scale will emit a beep tone followed by the LCD displaying “0.0 kg”.
Scale Operation:
1. Press the POWER button to turn on scale. The LCD displays “888” at startup. After startup be sure to hold the scale in
a vertical state until it emits a beep tone (within 3seconds) and the LCD display reads “0.0 kg”.
2. The item to be weighed should be attached to the scale while the LCD displays “0.0 kg”. Next grip the scale handle
and lift the item. The scale will emit a Beep tone when it has weighed the item. The LCD will display the
item weight along with “Hold” in the lower right corner.
3. To reset the scale and weigh another item, remove it from scale, then press and release POWER button. Scale
will then emit a beep tone and LCD will display “0.0 kg”.
4. Press POWER button to turn scale off or scale will power off automatically after 60 seconds.
Unit Transition (kg / lb):
- Press the button to turn on scale. The LCD displays “888” at startup. While LCD displays “888”, quickly press button
to change scale weighing unit to lb or kg.
Tare Function: (Using container to weigh item)
1. When you use a container to weigh an item, weigh the container by itself first. After unit emits Beep and LCD
displays container weight with “Hold” in lower right corner, continue to lift container, press and release the power
button to reset scale to (0.0).
2. Place the item to be weighed in container and weigh with scale. Item weight only will be displayed.
POWER Button function:
1. Turn unit on / off
2. Reset to zero
3. Activate “TARE”
4. Mode Change kg/lb while LCD displays 888.
Beep tone:
- Beep tone emits at startup / power off / return-to-zero /“Hold” article weight locked state /TARE
Usage Notes:
1. The maximum weight limit for this scale is 40KG. If weights greater than 40KG are placed on the scale, the display
shows “ERR”. Moreover, attempting to weigh items over 40KG could damage the scale.
2. When the LCD displays the “Battery Symbol”, it means that the battery is low. Please change the battery as soon as
possible.
3. To ensure the highest accuracy possible, avoid shaking or rocking while weighing items with the scale.
Care and maintenance:
1. Wipe the scale with a slightly damp cloth. DO NOT immerse the scale in water or use chemical/abrasive cleaning
agents
2. DO NOT stress the triangle ring for long time. During travel, keep the scale away from objects with sharp ends (such
as toy, stationery etc.), in case the scale is switched on frequently and consume battery power .
3. To ensure accurate weighing, DO NOT use this scale in strong-magnetic fields.
4. Keep the scale away from babies and children to avoid danger of swallowing the batteries and small components.
Dispose of the article according to the regulations in force in your country.
The item must not be disposed of with normal household waste, but must be returned for recycling at a collection point for electronic waste or a recycling center.
Batteries must be returned to a collection point in the city, town or trade.
