Maintenance

5.1

Preparation for Servicing

The following instructions are provided to help you maintain your HC10 Hay Conditioner.

Contact your MacDon Dealer for detailed maintenance and service information.

DANGER

To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected start-up or fall of a raised machine, always stop engine and remove
key before leaving the operator

’

s seat, and always engage safety props before going under the machine for any reason.

Before servicing hay conditioner or opening header drive covers:

Fully lower the header. If necessary to service in the raised position, always engage safety props.

Wait for all moving parts to stop.

Engage park brake.

Shut down the engine, and remove the key from the ignition.
