Adjusting Knife Speed

The header knife drive is driven by the hydraulic pump mounted on the float module. The following speeds are
factory-set for the combine feeder house:

•

AGCO: 625 rpm (includes Challenger, Gleaner, and Massey Ferguson)

•

Case: 580 rpm

•

John Deere: 490 rpm

•

CLAAS: 750 rpm (420 on combine display)

•

New Holland: 580 rpm

DANGER

To avoid bodily injury or death from unexpected startup of machine, always stop engine and remove key
from ignition before leaving operator

IMPORTANT:

This is the

MINIMUM

speed setting for variable speed feeder houses. To avoid damage to the header, do

NOT

operate at speeds higher than the minimum speed settings.
