Header Float
Headers are designed to ride on skid shoes while cutting on the ground. The windrower
fl
oat system, however,
reduces the ground pressure at the cutterbar allowing the header to
fl
oat over obstacles and follow ground contours
instead of being supported by the windrower lift cylinders. Refer to your windrower operator’s manual for details
about header
fl
oat adjustments.
