37.1 ERROR MESSAGES
MAIN DISPLAY
ERROR MESSAGE
WHAT TO DO
Scaling error
Input signal is over range. Increase/decrease the input signal until
it is back within the measuring range.
Input sensor connection error
Check the sensor wire connection.
Non-volatile memory error (reading)
While the error message is on the display, press Up button for 3
seconds or more, go to the lockout setting mode and initialize the
unit to its factory default status.

Non-volatile memory error (writing)
Internal data error
Repair is needed if the display does not recover after the power is
reset.
A/D converter error
Repair is needed if the display does not recover after the power is
reset.
Excitation supply error
Confirm that there is no abnormality (such as shortcircuit) at the
external connection for the excitation supply terminal.
Note: The meter recovers normal status following its startup sequence (except the power ON delay) when it is out of an
error status.

• The scaling error can be recognized with the OVF signal of the BCD output. Refer to 25. SETTING BCD OUTPUT for
