Bluetooth taskbar Icon state and Bluetooth device Icon states change as Bluetooth devices are discovered, pair, connect and
disconnect. There may be audible or visual signals as paired devices re-connect with the mobile device.

The default Bluetooth setting is Off. If the Discover button is not active, check the Bluetooth status on the Settings tab.

The MX8WM cannot be discovered by other Bluetooth devices when the

Computer is discoverable

option is disabled

(unchecked) on the Settings panel.

Other Bluetooth devices cannot be discovered if they have been set up to be

Non-Discoverable or Invisible.

The MX8WM can pair with one Bluetooth scanner and one Bluetooth printer.

Paired scanners and printers do not need to be deleted before a different scanner or printer can be paired with the
MX8WM.

The Bluetooth device should be as close as possible (line of sight) to the MX8WM during the pairing process.
