SOLAR TECHNOLOGY:
The Endura is a highly efficient solar light with high capacity Lithium batteries and fast charging
ETFE laminated solar panel. This, along with COEUS Technology ensures the Endura will re-
charge efficiently and will illuminate for many hours even after just 1 hour charge in full
sunshine. The light output is bright enough to illuminate paths and driveways, making them
safe to navigate at night, with a downward spread light projection with minimal light pollution
which gradually dims through the night.
INSTALLATION:
Designed to be mounted onto decking, a patio or pathway, or into soft ground via the sturdy
4 fin anchored ground spike.
Recommended spacing is 2m apart for substantial path lighting. Closer spacing /
staggering will result in a more intense light.
Location
–
It is important that the installation location is carefully considered, avoiding shady
areas. Ensure there is no other lights which could interfere with the light, imitating daylight
and forcing the light off.
SURFACE MOUNTING
1.
Mark the 2 mounting holes in the corners of the mounting surface in the desired location.
2.
Remove the fitting and drill out the holes at the relevant depth and diameter for the
mounting screws being used (varies based on mounting surface).
For wood, drill a pilot hole and then screw directly to the surface
using wood screws. For stone / brick pathways, use anchor bolts
(8mm supplied).
3.
Replace the solar light in the desired location, lining up the 2 x
holes at the base and secure in place with the chosen screws /
bolts. For anchor bolts, tighten the nuts to clamp in position.
GROUND SPIKE
1.
Attach the ground spike to the base at the centre 5mm mounting hole with the 4mm
socket screw & washer.
TIP:
hold the screw in place with a 4mm allen key and twist the spike to tighten.
2.
Dampen the area of installation to enable the spike to be pushed into the ground without
too much resistance.
3.
Firmly push the spike into the ground at the base of the fitting
–
do not push at the head.
4.
Compact the earth around the fitting.
TURNING ON/OFF
1)
Hold the On/Off button for 1 second to turn on
–
in daylight the LEDs will turn off after 2
seconds.
2)
Press the On/Off button once to turn off.
3)
To check if the solar light is on, cover the solar panel. If turned on the
LEDs will illuminate.
IMPORTANT
ENSURE AT LEAST ONE FULL DAY OF CHARGING BEFORE USE
STORAGE:
When storing the path lights, be sure to turn to the off position by following the
above steps (check by covering and uncovering the solar panel). Maximum 6 months
storage when fully charged
–
recharge will be required periodically to prevent damage to
battery over long periods of time.
