8.5.1 Escalated status codes

The CHM 8k offers an additional status code. It is divided into the following eight groups:

1.  Configuration
2.  Data transmission and storage
3.  Temperatures
4.  Calculation / processing in sky condition algorithm
5.  Laser and LED test pulse
6.  Main detector and PIN detector
7.  Window contamination sensor and laser monitor
8.  Voltages and fans

Each  group  is  assigned  a  position  in  the  hex  representation  of  the  32-bit  status  code.  For  example,
information, warnings and errors relating to temperatures (group 3) are in the third place from the right,
i.e. xxxxxTxx.
In each group, only the highest priority error, the highest error code in the status code, is displayed.
With  the  setting

SystemStatusMode (SSM)

the user can define, which status code variants for the

telegram output should be used. For the

CHM 8k the escalated status code is used by default.

describes the meaning and lifetime of the individual status codes.
