6.1.2  Installing on the foundation 

 

CAUTION 

 

 

The CHM 8k weighs 70 kg, heavy equipment may cause serious injury.  

 

Do not attempt to move the CHM 8k without adequate help 

 

At least two people are required to install the ceilometer 

 
Install the 

CHM 8k ceilometer as follows: 

 

Unload the 

CHM 8k from the transport equipment and set it down as close as possible to the place 

of installation.

Remove the packaging. 

 

Unscrew the side panels. 

 

Remove the side panels individually.
