Displays the number of severely errored seconds with 
at least one of the following characteristics per second:

320 or more path code violation error events

•

Out-of-frame (OOF) defects

•

Detected AIS defect

•

A count of one-second intervals with framing error 
events, an OOF defect, or a minimum of 1,544 line 
code violations.

Displays the number of severely errored framing sec-
onds encountered by the virtual DS1 port in one of the 
previous 96, individual 15-minute intervals. A 
severely errored framing second has one or more out-
of-frame defects or a detected AIS (alarm indication 
signal) defect.

Format: Numeric

The number of unavailable seconds encountered by 
the virtual DS1 port in one of the previous 96 individ-
ual 15-minute intervals. Unavailable seconds (UAS) 
are calculated by the number of seconds that the inter-
face is unavailable.

Controlled Slip Sec-
onds

Default:

Range: 0–9999999999

Format: Numeric

Displays a one-second interval containing one or more 
controlled slips. The number of controlled slip seconds 
encountered by DS1 in the previous 24-hour period.

Path Coding Viola-

Format: Numeric

Displays a frame synchronization bit error in the D4 
and E1-noCRC formats, or a CRC error in the ESF 
(Extended Super Frame) and E1-CRC formats. The 
number of Path Coding Violations encountered by DS1 
in the previous 24-hour period.

Default:

Range: 0–9999999999

Format: Numeric

Displays a second in which one or more Line Code 
Violation error events were detected. The number of 
Line Errored Seconds encountered by DS1 in the pre-
vious 24-hour period.

onds

Format: Numeric

Displays a second with fewer than 320 and more than 
1 Path Coding Violation error events, no Severely 
Errored Frame defects, and no detected incoming AIS 
defects. The number of bursty errored seconds 
encountered by DS1 in the previous 24-hour period.
