cable consists of 24 outputs.
6. One
DS1/DS3 Hybrid Cable Assembly is required for A/B Function Unit
Group to support use of the LNW39 16 DS1 and 3 DS3 Hybrid. Each DS1/
DS3 Hybrid Cable Assembly consists of two separate cable assemblies,
both containing 28 pairs of 24 gauge cable and 3 Coaxial 735A cable. One
cable is for input and the other cable is for output.
7. For AI switching applications, either an X.25 - X.25 Cable Assembly or
an X.25 - Switch Cable Assembly must be ordered. Both cable assemblies
are equipped with RS-232 connectors on each end of the cable.
8. When cabling the Metropolis
®
DMXtend for office alarm applications,
one Office Alarm Cable Assembly is required for the bottom Metropolis
®
DMXtend shelf in a bay frame. One Office Alarm Mult Cable Assembly
is required for each additional Metropolis
®
DMXtend shelf in the bay
frame.
For example, if four Metropolis

DMXtend shelves are located in a single
7-foot bay frame, one Office Alarm Cable Assembly and three Office
Alarm Mult Cable Assemblies are required.
9. These cables are used for IAO LAN (OSI/TCP-IP)/Front LAN (OSI/TCP-
IP) connection (J16 and Front LAN port). LAN 10BASE-T cross over

10BASE-T straight through cable should be used if shelf is connected to a
hub.
