Purpose
This test provides a procedure for testing the “path tear-down” functionality of ONNS.
Procedure
Proceed as follows to delete the connection between NE-A and NE-C:

Select
View
→
View Paths
or
Configuration
→
Delete Path
from the map’s menu
bar.
Result:
The path table is displayed.

Select the active connection between NE-A and NE-C and click
Delete
.
Result:
The record will highlight indicating that the record has been selected. A
confirmation message appears. The connection is highlighted on the network map.

.
Result:
The
View Paths
screen is updated to remove the connection. All data
related to the connection is purged. No signal can be received with “analyzer 1”
and “analyzer 2”.
