Gigabit Ethernet circuit packs

Application packs

The following pack types are available:

•

GE1/SX4

•

GE1/LX4.

Cable data

Important!

Only the fiber cables with listed comcode (see Engineering Drawings)

are allowed to be used, otherwise the proper functioning of the system cannot be
guaranteed.

The fiber types are:

•

Multi Mode (MM)-minicord break-out cable (for SX applications)

•

Multi Mode (MM)-simplex cable (for SX applications)

•

Single Mode (SM)-minicord break-out cable (for LX applications)

•

Single Mode (SM)-simplex cable (for LX applications).

Connector data

LC connectors with an angled boot of 40-45 degrees are used for termination to port
units (beige connector for MM, blue connector for SM). The LC boot must remain
freely rotatable around the connector length axis after termination, in order to adjust its
orientation to the fiber routing direction without damaging the fiber.
