Routing without MDIO terminal rail
An external equipment (e.g. temperature sensor) can also be connected directly to the
MDI/MDO interface of the subrack. In that case the common pin (= pin 5) has to be
connected to a voltage in the range of -40 V ... -72 V on the customer side.
