Installation & Operating Instructions
NOTE – To comply with regulations, installation must be carried out by suitably
qualified competent person and in accordance with the current IEE Wiring
Regulations (BS7671) and Building Regulations. A copy of the instructions must
be left for the user/maintenance engineer for future reference.

ENSURE ELECTRICAL SUPPLY IS DISCONNECTED/
ISOLATED BEFORE COMMENCING INSTALLATION
• Suitable for use with mains voltage 100-240V 50/60Hz
• Mounting surface must be smooth and clean
• When installing more than one kit note that matching colour sequences are not
possible without additional equipment
• Note the connection from the LED driver to the IR controller is only rated at IP40
therefore additional protection maybe required
ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION:
1. The LED driver must be installed within 400mm of the first strip.
2. Connect the driver to the mains observing the correct polarity Live (Brown),
Neutral (Blue) and Earth (Green &Yellow).
3. A suitable junction box shall be used to protect mains connections.
4. The LED driver is connected to the LED IR controller with a push fit connection,
the IR receiver picks up the signal from the remote control supplied.
5. The LED strip is the connected to the LED IR via a push fit connection and secured
with threaded screw connection. (FIG1)
CUTTING AND CONNECTING STRIPS:
6. The LED strip has cut marks located every 50-100mm denoted by bronze coloured
marks, measure the length of strip required and cut with a pair of scissors or
cutters on the nearest mark. (FIG 2)
7. The kit is supplied with straight connectors and flexible connectors which can be
used to change the direction of the strip. (FIG 3)
8. The end of the strip and any joints must be covered by the rubber covers supplied.

9. IMPORTANT to maintain the IP rating rubber covers must be sealed using the
tube of silicone supplied.
