Installation requirements
•
Select a suitable location for the fitting;
- Ensure it is on a flat and stable surface.
- This product is suitable for indoor use only.
- Do not place flammable material near or over the fitting.
- Ensure the fitting is not installed next to any air vents and is not in any moist or damp areas.
•
Only use the supplied plug in LED driver with this fitting.
•
Take care not to pull any electrical wires during unpacking as this may damage the connection.
•
Lay out all the components on a smooth surface and make sure there are no components missing before
assembling.
If parts are missing, return the complete product to the place of purchase for inspection or replacement.
•
Check whether the fitting has been damaged during transport. Do not operate/install any product which appears
damaged in any way. Return the complete product to the place of purchase for inspection, repair or replacement.
•
Do not plug into the mains power socket outlet before or during assembly. Only do so after the portable lamp is fully
assembled and ready to use for the first time.
Installation directions
1. Install the base onto the lower rod.
2. Remove the cord protection cap on the middle rod.
3. Install the middle rod onto the lower rod.
4. Turn and make sure it is tightened.
5. Remove the cord protection cap on the fitting head.
6. Install the fitting head onto the middle rod.
7. Turn and ensure it is tightened. Do not overtighten.
8. Connect the quick connector of the adaptor to the light fitting.
9. Insert the adaptor into the mains socket outlet and ensure it is fully plugged in.
10. Use the cord-line switch to turn the lamp on/off.
