Read and understand all instructions. Failure
to follow all instructions listed below may
result in electric shock, fire and/or serious
personal injury.
Do not immerse the battery pack in water. Sudden cooling could cause the hot battery to explode or leak.
1. Unscrew pump head assembly from the container tube.
2. To remove an empty cartridge, pull back on the follower “T” handle until the follower rod is fully extended and locks in place. Then carefully release follower “T” handle
to eject empty cartridge from container tube.
1. Pull back on follower “T” handle and latch to the follower rod groove in the keyway to lock.
2. Remove the plastic cap from the cartridge and insert cartridge into container tube.
3. Remove pull-tab and screw pump head into container tube.
4. Unlock follower “T” handle. Purge air from gun. (See air-purging instructions.)
1. Pull back on follower “T” handle and rotate to engage follower-locking mechanism.
2. Push follower “T” handle forward to force any air pockets out of pump head assembly while holding down on air bleeder valve.
3. Hold down trigger to operate gun to purge trapped air while still holding air bleeder valve. When you see a small amount of grease leaving valve, then release valve.
4. Repeat procedure if gun loses prime.
Squeeze trigger switch to start motor running and to pump grease. Listed for the cycling sound of the pumping mechanism to indicate the number of strokes of grease being
pumped. The grease gun will have a noticeably smoother sound when the unit runs out of grease and a new cartridge or bulk fill is required. Release the trigger to stop
pumping grease. Under normal greasing a stuck fitting will be opened by the high-pressure capability of this gun. However if the fitting remains stuck, and the grease gun is
being stalled or is running at a near stalled load, release the trigger switch to avoid damaging the motor. The fitting should be replaced at this time.
1. Slide the fully charged battery into the matching cavity in the tool handle where the discharged battery has been removed.
2. Insert the fully charged battery into the tool handle. The battery release button will “click” into place when the battery is fully installed.
3. The battery can only be inserted into the handle one way. If it will not slide into the handle, rotate the battery 180°.
1. Remove the discharged battery (1) from the tool (2) by pressing on the battery release buttons (3) on the sides of the battery.
2. Pull the battery out of the tool handle.
1. To charge the battery, place the charger in a dry location near a 120 V AC, 60Hz electrical outlet.
2. Plug the battery stem into the matching cavity in the top of the charging base.
a. Make sure battery is pressed fully onto the charging base as far as it will go.
b. Do NOT charge batteries when the work area or the battery temperature is at or below 0°C (32°) or above 45°C (113°).
3. When the battery charger is plugged into a “live” receptacle, the battery charger will begin charging the battery. The red LED (5) will turn ON indicating the battery is being charged.
4. When the battery is fully charged, the red LED will turn OFF and the green LED will turn ON.
5. A completely discharged battery will take approximately 90 minutes to become fully charged.
1. Always wear eye protection.
2. Only use a whip hose rated at 3,500 PSI. Replace the hose if damaged. This tool can generate up to 3,500 PSI. Grease injection injuries are very serious injuries.
3. Avoid accidental starting. Be sure switch is no depressed when inserting battery pack.
4. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as, in the presence of flammable liquids, gasses, or dust. Power tools create sparks, which may ignite the dust or fumes.
5. Keep bystanders, children and visitors away while operating. Distractions can cause you to make mistakes.
1. Do not continue to hold down trigger if grease gun is stalled. This could damage the motor or cause fire.
2. Disconnect battery pack from tool before changing accessories. Such preventative safety measures reduce the risk of starting the tool accidently.
3. When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects like: paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects that can make a
connection from one terminal to another. Shorting battery terminals together may cause sparks, burns or a fire.
4. Use only accessories that are recommended for this model. This tool is a fully rated portable power lubrication product. Only accessories that are capable of handling
3,500 PSI should be used.
5. There are certain applications for which this tool was designed. It is strongly recommended that this tool NOT be modified and/or used for any application other than for
which it was designed.
