Configuring UNITOUR
3.1
Overview
UNITOUR can be configured either,
•
Locally using the menu system on the touch screen
•
R
emotely using LSC’s HOUSTON X software. See section 5
UNITOUR can be configured without being connected to 3-phase power. Just connect a PoE
Ethernet switch to the PoE Ethernet connector and the head module it begins operating
allowing local (touch screen) or HOUSTON X (network) configuration.
3.2
Menu Access Levels
Home Menu
There are 3 “Levels” of access to UNITOUR. Each level can be PIN protected to restrict un
authorised access. See section 3.22.1
•
USER. This level consists of the 6 menu
buttons at the bottom of the “Home Menu”
and the “QUICK” setup wizard that is accessed from the LOG IN button
•
ADVANCED
. This level consists of “Main Menu” that is accessed from the LOG IN
button.
•
SERVICE. This level is always PIN protected.
•
HOUSTON
. This is remote access for LSC’s HOUSTON X software.
If you tap a button and its level has been locked, you will be asked to enter the PIN then tap
UNLOCK
. The level remains unlocked until you lock it again.
To re-lock a level, tap
LOG IN
