6.3 Slave Dedicated Function Block Service
Rnet slave module is a remote I/O control device which has a communication function and I/O
control function of PLC CPU. Rnet slave module doesn’t have a program execution function but can
control remote I/O of CPU through communication. So it supports the high-speed link service,
function block service and remote connection service. This chapter describes how to control the
slave by function block service.
6.3.1 Slave special module function block
Slave can equip the following special module, D/A conversion module, A/D conversion module,
RTD module, High-speed counter module and equip-able module type is 8. For more detail, refer to
the Chapter 8 table [8.1.2]. Slave special module function block controls the special module
equipped at the slave. NET_NO, ST_NO is added at the previous function block input and ERR,
NDR is added at the previous function block output. [Figure 6.3.1(A)] is an example of A/D
conversion module function block and describes the difference between original function block and
function block for slave module.
