Setup the OPC configuration (see Section 5.3).
Note:
This setup procedure assumes the use of the IP interface.
5.2.1 IP Configuration via the Web Interface
LOYTEC devices are shipped with DHCP and will acquire an IP address as soon as they are
connected to the network. To use a static IP you can use the Web interface to configure the
client device. In a Web browser enter the IP address of the device which can be read on the
LCD display. Note that your PC must be attached to the same subnet as the device. For
devices with a default IP address choose the setup on the LCD display.
To Configure a Static IP
1.
Open your Web browser and type in the IP address shown on the LCD display.

Click on
Config
in the left menu. You will be asked to enter passwords for the
administrator and operator accounts before proceeding.

The Config menu opens. Click on
Port Config
and change to the tab
Ethernet
. The
TCP/IP settings are selected as shown in Figure 29. Enter the IP address, the IP netmask,
and IP gateway for this device.
