Warning

Observe the instructions for use supplied with the measurement

kit and the accessories used.

A 3.6.1

Connecting the intravesical pressure measuring kit

Connect the intravesical pressure measuring kit to the Paux II port of elisa 500.

Urine collection bag

Multi-gang manifold

Infusion

syringe

Saline infusion

Urinary

catheter

Warning

Check that the intravesical pressure measurement kit is connect-

ed to the correct Paux port. The intra-abdominal pressure cannot

be measured when the kit is connected to any other port; further-

more, this may jeopardise the safety of the patient.

A 3.6.2

IAP function

Remark

IAP is available to the end user only if it was enabled on the con

figuration level.

Open the IAP workspace by pressing the “Functions” button and then by select

ing the “IAP” tab. If configured accordingly, the intra-abdominal pressure measure

ment can also be selected via the shortcut “IAP”.

Activate and deactivate the function with the “On” and “Off” buttons.

IAP is displayed as a numeric value and as a graphic trend.
