Important Safeguards
When using any electrically powered product, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following for your
portable evaporative cooler unit:

WARNING – to reduce risk of fire, electrical shock or injury to persons or property:

Operate the product from a power source with the same voltage, frequency and rating as indicated on the product
identification plate.
•
Close supervision is necessary when any product is used by or near children or invalids.
•
Do not operate any product with a damaged cord or plug, if the product malfunctions, is dropped or appears damaged.
Return the complete product to the place of purchase or rental for inspection, repair or replacement.
•
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse, expose the product or flexible cord to rain, moisture or any liquid
other than the intended water filler and ice tank for the cooling operation.
•
This product is very portable and should not be used in the immediate vicinity of water such as a bathtub, wash bowls or
swimming pools where the likelihood of immersion or splashing could occur.
•
Never install the portable unit where it could be subject to:

Heat sources such as radiators, or other products that produce heat
•
Direct sunlight
•
Excessive dust
•
Mechanical vibration or shock
•
Lack of ventilation
•
Uneven surface
•
Switch OFF and unplug from outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts before cleaning.
•
Switch OFF and unplug before filling with water and take care not to overfill.
•
Avoid trying to touch the inside or moving parts of your portable unit.
•
Do not place the cooler close to objects that could obstruct the inlet or outlet openings such as close proximity to walls
or curtains etc.

Evaporative air cooling is a natural way of cooling similar to a breeze across water that lowers the temperature at the beach.
When water as a liquid is evaporates in to the air, the result is a mixture of air and water molecules. This chemical change
requires heat, thus energy or latent heat is taken from the air molecules – dropping the actual temperature of the air.
Air contains dust, pollen and other pollutants. This evaporative air cooler cleans the air providing cooler and cleaner air.
For optimum performance position the portable unit in a location that will help create a ‘flow through’ air effect. Ideally the unit
