Troubleshooting
Reception is poor?
• Reposition the aerial (closer to the window) to improve the
reception.
• Do not place the aerial behind a metal object, it could block the
TV and radio signals.
• Check that you are in a good reception area. Try checking a digital
TV website to find out what channels you can expect in your area.
• Make sure your Amplifier is switched on if you have connected it.
Channels are missing
• Make sure you retune your TV after connecting your aerial and
amplifier. Make sure the amplifier is connected to the mains and
switched on.
6. Retune your TV, see the TV manufacturers instructions for the
tuning procedure.
You may need to move the aerial around until you receive the best
reception. If you move the aerial you may need to retune your TV
again.
If you are in an area with strong reception you may not need to use
the external amplifier. Simply connect the aerial directly to your TV.
