Playing a CD
1. Set the FUNCTION selector to CD.
2. Open the CD door, and insert a CD with the printed side facing
up, then press the CD door gently to close it. The total number of
tracks on the disc will show in the display.
• If there is no disc inside or the CD door is not closed,
“ ” will show in the display.
3. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback, the first
track will be played. The number of the currently playing track
will show in the display.

4. To pause playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE button. The “ ”
will flash continuously in the display. To resume playback, press
the PLAY/PAUSE button again.
5. To stop the CD playback, press the STOP button.
Selecting a Different Track
• Press the BACK or NEXT button once or repeatedly until the desired track number
appears in the display.
Finding a Passage within a Track
1. During playback, press and hold the BACK or NEXT button. The CD is played at
high speed and with reduced volume.
2. When you recognise the passage you want, release the BACK or NEXT button to
resume normal playback.
Programming Track Numbers
You may store up to 20 tracks in the desired sequence. Be sure to press the STOP button
before use to ensure no prior program has been set.
1. In stop mode, press the PROG. button to activate programming.
