2.4.1.2 Micro-B USB 3.0 device port
This port is reserved for future use.
2.4.2 Rear ports
There is one DC IN power port, one Gigabit Ethernet port, and one type C mini HDMI
port.
2.4.2.1 DC IN power port
The unit has one DC IN port. Connect the included AC adapter/power
supply to the DC IN port to provide power to the unit.
2.4.2.2 Gigabit Ethernet port
There is one Gigabit Ethernet port. Some of the possible uses for this
port include (but are not limited to) the following:
•
Connect to a NAS device.
•
Connect a work network to control the SuperSonix-NG remotely
and allow access to a server as a networked repository.
2.4.2.3 HDMI
There is a Type C Mini HDMI port located in the back panel. Simply
connect a mini HDMI cable from the unit to an external display that
supports HDMI and the display will automatically show on both the unit
and the external display.
To change the display resolution on the external display:
1.
Connect a wired USB keyboard to one of the front USB host
ports.
2.
Press ALT+R. An on-screen display should appear on the external
display that allows the display resolution to be changed.
2.5 Touch screen
The SuperSonix-NG features a
7”
color LCD capacitive touch screen that allows the user to quickly input
commands. The screen is bright, easy to read, and supports swipe gestures.
2.6 Operating System and SuperSonix-NG Application Software
The SuperSonix-NG has an SSD storage drive that contains the operating system and software. This drive
does not store any data from master drives or target drives.
