Avoid the risk of fatal injury
from electric shock
Check the lamp for possible damage before
every use. Never use the lamp if it shows any
signs of damage.
CAUTION!
A damaged lamp means danger
of death from electric shock. In the event of
damage, repairs or other problems with the
lamp, please contact the service centre or an
electrician.
The external flexible cord on this lamp is not
replaceable; if the cord is damaged the lamp
must be disposed of.
Before use, verify that the available mains volt-
age matches the required operating voltage of
the lamp (220–240 V∼, 50 / 60 Hz).
Never let the lamp come into contact with water
or other liquids.
Always unplug the mains adapter from the mains
socket prior to assembly, disassembly, cleaning
or if the lamp will not be used for extended pe-
riods.
Never open any of the electrical equipment or
insert any objects into this equipment. Such in-
terferences pose a risk of fatal injury from elec-
tric shock.
The illuminant is not replaceable.
The illuminant in this lamp is not replaceable;
if the illuminant reaches the end of its life,
replace the entire lamp.
This lamp is not suitable for external dimmers
(house installation) or electronic switches.
Prevent fire and injury hazards
Do not look directly into the light source (light
bulb, LED etc.).
Do not leave the lamp or packaging lying around.
Plastic films / bags, plastic parts, etc. are dan-
gerous for children to play with.
Do not cover the lamp or the mains adapter
with other objects. Excessive heat build-up can
result in fire.
Do not leave the lamp unattended when in use.
For your safety
Install the lamp in a location where it is protected
from moisture and dirt.
Always be alert! Always pay attention to what
you are doing and always use common sense.
Never install the lamp if you are having difficulty
concentrating or do not feel well.
Initial use
Assembling the lamp
Note:
We recommend assembling this lamp with
2 persons. When assembling the lamp base

Carefully take the lamp out of the packaging
and remove all packaging materials.
Remove the protective film

Screw the upper support tube

onto the flexible lamp arm

Screw the centre support tube

into the lower support tube

Screw the lower support tube

into the centre support tube

Carefully feed the power cord

support tube.
Now screw the lower support tube

wise into the screw connection provided in the
lamp base

Place the lamp on a stable and level surface.
Make sure that nobody can trip over the
power cord

Plug the mains adapter

into a mains socket
that has been professionally installed.
Adjust the flexible lamp arm

to the desired
position (see Fig. B).
Your lamp is now ready to use.
