INSTALLATION

INSTRUCTIONS

Upon receipt of fixture and accessories
(packaged separately), thoroughly in-
spect for any freight damage which
should be brought to the attention of the
delivery carrier.  Compare the catalog de-
scription listed on the packing slip with
the fixture label on the inside of the hous-
ing to be sure you have received the cor-
rect merchandise.

Tools Required: 3/16” allen wrench, #2 phillips screwdriver (ASF2 only).
3/8” allen wrench required for yoke mounting.

Prior to Installation

Read carefully before installing light fixtures.  If you do not understand these instructions, please
contact your local Lithonia distributor before installing.

INSTALLATION

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING:

  Recheck to be sure the proper

fixture voltage lead has been selected to
match the supply line voltage before
energizing.  Improper wiring may result in
ballast failure and void all warranties.
NEVER disconnect any component while
power supply is engaged.

Note: At no time should the Aeris Flood be inverted.

ASF1 

(see Fig 1)

* Attach the fixture to the junction box or wiring
   compartment, ensuring the wires are accessible
   from the wiring compartment.
* Fixture requires a ¾” threaded bolt to mount
   (provided by others unless using an ASF
   mounting accessory).
* To adjust the tilt and aiming of the ASF1, loosen
   the 3/16” allen screw on the side of the knuckle.
   Adjust as necessary and retighten.

ASF2 

(see Fig 2, 3)

* Remove the access cover plate to the integral
   wiring compartment using a #2 Philips Head
   screwdriver (see figure 2).
* Slipfit swivel onto the 2” (standard 2 3/8” OD)
   tenon, ensuring that the wires are pulled through
   the integral wiring compartment.
* Secure the swivel to the tenon by tightening
   the (4) 3/16” allen set screws.
* To adjust the tilt and aiming of the ASF2,
   loosen the 3/16” allen screw on the side of the
   knuckle.  Adjust as necessary and retighten
   (see figure 3).

OPTIONAL MOUNTING (Yoke - YK):

ASF1 & ASF2

* Mount the yoke to the desired bracketry by the
   center hole using a 3/4” bolt, lock washer and
   nut (provided by others).  1/2” bolts may be
   used in the outer holes if necessary.  Tighten to
   30ft.-lbs.
* To adjust the tilt and aiming of the ASF, loosen
   the 3/8” allen set screw on each side of the yoke.
   Adjust as necessary and retighten (see figure 4).

Make the supply connections (Standard)

ASF1
* Make the supply connections in the wiring
   compartment the ASF is mounted upon.
ASF2
* Make the supply connections in the wiring
   compartment the ASF is mounted upon.
* Reinstall the access cover plate over the integral
   wiring compartment.

Make the supply connections (Yoke - YK)
*  

Make the supply connection to the 16-3

    SEOOW cord supplied.

dance with the National Electrical

        Code and applicable local codes and

ordinances.

Proper grounding is required.

Use approved connectors for all
electrical connections.

Be certain the green lead from the
fixture is secured to ground.

·

Follow all instructions and warnings
listed on fixture labels.

·

ALL work should be performed by a
qualified electrician.
