Operators must read and abide by
the instructions contained in this
manual as well as the engine and
genset handbooks supplied.

to work on electrical cabinets and
panels that are live.
2.1 before startInG
• Check that all air cooling inlets and
outlets are free of any obstructions.
The air outlets should not be near
any heating sources.
The cooling air temperature must be
equal to the environment temperature
and never higher than 40°C.
2.2 WHen tHe set Is at rest
Do not work on the alternator before
disconnecting the engine starter
battery. Failure to disconnect the
battery may allow the set to start up
automatically. Always disconnect the
negative terminal first and reconnect
last using insulated tools.
2.3 WHen tHe set Is runnInG
Do not touch any of the alternator
electrical connections.
