46 Steel Brush Machine SBM-M 1000/1500 B2
7.3 Cleaning
The machine must be cleaned after every shift (at least once per day) and
material residues removed.
WARNING
Accidental starting of the brushing motors during cleaning
Severe injuries due to rotating brush belts
 Disconnect electrical power to the machine; turn off main switch.
 Only entrust the work to authorized personnel.
CAUTION
Sharp-edged wires of the brush belts
Hand injuries.
 Wear suitable protective gloves during brush belt changes and cleaning.

 Turn off the main switch of the machine
 Open doors.
At the bottom of the machine there are two catch boxes (1) for dust and
material residue, which can be removed for emptying.
 Remove and empty catch boxes (1) for dust and material residue.
 Vacuum out dust and material residue with an industrial vacuum cleaner.

Close doors again.
Dust and material residue must be disposed of in accordance with applicable
country-specific law.
