Where required or demanded by provisions, use personal protection equipment! 

 

Observe all safety and danger notes and keep them in a legible condition! Replace damaged or no 
longer legible safety and danger notes. 

 

For safety-relevant changes to the machine or the operation conduct, shut down the machine at once 
and mark it accordingly. Report interference to the relevant office/person. 

 

Do not make any changes by attachment and conversion without the written approval of the 
manufacturer! The instructions of the tool manufacturer must be observed. 

 

Only use tested genuine spare parts of the manufacturer! 

 

Periods prescribed or indicated in the operating instructions for inspection must be complied with. 
An annual inspection by a qualified person is prescribed. Clean the machine thoroughly before 
inspection. The mains plug also must be pulled before any maintenance or repair work. 

 

To perform maintenance measures, a workshop equipment appropriate for the work must be used.

Staff selection and qualification, general obligations 

 

Only qualified persons who have completed the 18th year of their lives must be charged with 
independent operation of the machine. All persons must be instructed in operation. 

 

Responsibilities of the staff for operation, equipment, maintenance and repairs must be specified. 

 

The operators must ensure that they do not endanger themselves and others during any movement of 
the machine. 

 

Ensure that only charged staff will work at the machine. 

 

The operator must wear personal protection equipment, such as safety shoes, safety gloves and 
goggles that correspond to the safety provisions. 

 

Unnecessary presence in the working area is forbidden! Persons who do not work with the machine 
must be sent from the working area. Barrier off the working area if required. 

 

Work at electrical equipment of the machine must only be performed by a qualified electrical or 
instructed person under the management and supervision of a qualified electrician according to the 
electrical safety rules. 

 

Staff to be trained, instructed, informed or in the scope of general training must only work with the 
machine under the continuous supervision of an experienced person.
