This manual provides general instructions. Many variables can change the circumstances of the instructions,
i.e., the degree of difficulty, operation and ability of the individual performing the instructions. This
manual cannot begin to plot out instructions for every possibility, but provides the general instructions,
as necessary, for effectively interfacing with the device, product or system. Failure to correctly follow the
provided instructions may result in death, serious personal injury, severe product and/or property damage,
including voiding of the LCI limited warranty.
The "WARNING" symbol above is a sign that a procedure has a safety risk involved and may cause
death or serious personal injury and/or severe product and property damage, including voiding
of the component warranty, if not performed safely and within the parameters set forth in
this manual.

• The Sway Command system installed on this caravan may be incompatible with certain
manufacturers’ brake controllers.
• Please refer to the website www.lci1.com/sway for the most current list of brake controllers
compatible with Sway Command. Also, refer to your vehicle owner’s manual for any further
instructions on your vehicle’s brake controller function.
• Failure to determine compatibility between your brake controller, your tow vehicle and Sway
Command may result in the sudden loss of brake controller braking, which can result in a loss of
vehicle control and cause serious injury or property damage.
• Do not submerge the caravan. The Sway command is not designed to be submerged under water
(Water Crossing). Extended submersion could cause Non-Warrantable damage.
The “CAUTION” symbol above is a sign that a safety risk is involved and may cause personal injury
and/or product or property damage if not safely adhered to and within the parameters set forth
in this manual.
The Sway Command controller is water-resistant, but not waterproof. Do not spray high pressure
water directly at the controller.
Always inflate tyres per manufacturer's specifications. In addition to causing sway, improper tyre
inflation may cause premature tyre wear, poor handling, reduced fuel economy, or blowouts. Check
tyre inflation weekly when the tyre is cold before operation.
