Essential Ladder Operation Safety
FALLS FROM A LADDER FROM ANY HEIGHT CAN
LEAD TO DEATH OR SERIOUS PHYSICAL INJURY.
OBEY SAFETY MEASURES AND DO NOT USE
THE LADDER FOR ANYTHING OTHER THAN ITS
INTENDED USE.
• Do not exceed the 330 lb. (150 kg) maximum weight
capacity of the ladder.
• Only 1 person at any given time should be on the ladder.
• Ensure all lock buttons are in the “lock” position prior to
using ladder

• Position the ladder only on level, stable ground that will
not shift or sink under use.
• Do not overreach. Keep torso between the side rails at all
times.
• Always face the ladder when ascending or descending.
• Equipment carried up and down the ladder should be
manageable and easy to handle.

Extend the ladder to full height.

Insert the attached mounting hanger of the ladder into
MAKE SURE LADDER IS FULLY SEATED IN THE
RECEIVER BEFORE USE. IF ALL THE LADDER
TREADS ARE NOT FULLY EXTENDED, USE CAUTION
ASCENDING AND DESCENDING AS LADDER RUNG
SPACING WILL NOT BE AS UNIFORM AS EXPECTED.
Installing Ladder on Receiver

Pull down on the ladder to make sure the mounting
hanger is fully inserted into the receiver.
4.
Put feet of the ladder on the ground. Ladder should
be at an angle. The optimal angle for use of the ladder is
approximately 75 degrees

. Retract rungs starting
from the bottom if angle needs adjustment.
