(1) Headset/Handset Button : When this button is in the down position coversation is through
the headset. When it is in the up position the conversation is routed to your telephone handset.
(2) Mute Indicator : Light indicates when the Mute feature is engaged.
(3) Mute Button : When this button is depressed the Mute feature is active and your voice will not be
heard at the other end of the call.
(4) Headset Port : Plug the curly cord of your headset in here.
(5) Listen Volume Adjust : Increases or decreses the volume of the caller's voice.
The number on the dial idicates the level of volume, 1 being the lowest and 10 the highest.
We recommend that you set the volume to the lowest level possible for audible conversation
to avoide acoustic injuries.
(6) Speak Volume Adjust : Increses or decreases the volume of your voice as heard by the caller.
(7) Configuration Switch : Allows the amplifier to operate with different telephone types.
(8) DC Power : 5V~6.3V 300mA AC adapter can be used instead of batteries.
Or USB cable(15) can be used also.
(9) Microphone Switch : Allows the amplifier to operate both Electret and Carbon microphone
telephones. Most modern telephones use electret microphones so this switch should be set to
the 'E' position.
(10) Handset Port : Connects to your telephone handset via your telephone handset curly cord.
(11) Telephone Port : Connects to your telephone via the short cord provided.
(12) Battery Compartment : Install two AA size alkaline batteries.
